Styrofoam Remix.

I went golfing today, for the first time in...I dunno how long.
I'm not really a "golfer" though.
I work at a country club, so I kinda feel obliged to pretend like I know what I'm doing. (Double-bogey eagle!)
I'll admit though, that I spent a majority of my time in the golf-cart reading a book. (Which seemed like a better way to spend such a beautiful 100 degree day.)
It was one lent to me by one of my summer camp kids. I'll also admit, that I'm a bit embarrassed to tell you the title. (It's one of those that you don't really admit to reading...like Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and the Autobiography of Betty White.)
But hey, that's what summer is for. Reading crap and pretending to golf.

Later, I treated myself to an iced chai with an added shot of espresso and scrabble with my mom.
Well...words with friends, (pass and play), but it's the thought that counts.

I should probably be sleeping, given that I have work at 7am, but the Real Housewives reunion is on...and I can't...look...away...
Bravo is the gateway drug of reality shows.

Also, I'm all kinds of hyped for Italy!
I can't believe it's almost here.
T-minus 5ish weeks.

My flight itinerary is beyond RIDICULOUS.
I fly from LA to NYC, NY to Madrid and then Madrid to Rome, where I will take the train to where I'll be staying.
When I come back in December, I fly from Rome to London, London to Chi Town and Chicago to LA.

I think I'll need a Red Bull...

I guess it'll be nice to visit those places, the airports, at least.

I ordered a digital camera, just for the occasion! I hope it doesn't suck...but knowing me...it'll suck before I even open the box. (And then I'll write a blog about it.)

Speaking of blogs, I am no longer interning for Bop & Tiger Beat magazine.
My school required that I pay for the units, which hardly seems fair, but I just can't afford that.
I'm sure they hate me for leaving early (and writing a less than flattering post about them on here).
I have yet to open the reply email they sent after I broke "bad news."
I'm sure they were nice...I'm just a big weenie.

We all have our character flaws!
